I’m a wife and a mom of three. I left college to stay home with my kids for seven years, and I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart to help people through meaningful work. Along the way, I trained as a hypnobirthing practitioner and birth doula (fun fact: three unmedicated births, two of them under water!), studied Christ-centered and trauma-informed yoga, and became a holistic health practitioner focused on the nervous system and brain patterns. I also run an organic mobile coffee truck (total coffee snob 👋), and my husband and I are now starting a hotshot trucking business. I’m happy to let him take the reins while I come back to the dream that’s been on my heart all along.
For over a decade, I’ve felt the call to encourage other women, share what God was teaching me, and step into the things I felt called to do. One thing I kept coming back to was building community and business online.
But knowing what I wanted to do and actually doing it were two different things.
I’d get excited, start planning, overthink everything, and find myself caught in a cycle of trying this strategy and that strategy. I’d compare myself to everyone else, struggle to find my own voice and confidence, and eventually end up right back where I started: stuck.
The noise was so loud. Everywhere I turned, there was more advice about what to post, how to sell, how to grow, and what I needed to do to be successful. So much of it was rooted in the world’s way of doing business: hustle harder, do more, follow the formula, and figure out how to make yourself stand out.
I’d tried network marketing before, too, but it never felt like a fit. I didn’t have much training or support, and the 100-name list, cold calls, and “hey girl” DMs made me feel like I had to become someone I wasn’t. On top of that, the monthly requirements were more than I could maintain as a brand-new consultant with limited resources. Eventually, I gave up.
Then I found Legacy Collective, a faith-based business training and mentorship community partnered with Arbonne. For the first time, I saw an opportunity to learn how to build a business in a way that aligned with what mattered to me: keeping Jesus at the center, serving people genuinely, growing in faith, and putting what I believe into practice.
It wasn’t about finding another perfect strategy to follow. It was about learning to build differently.
